I am the coordinator for The Salvation Army, Red Shield Center of Atchison, Kansas.  This is a  request your help in supporting our community with our annual fundraiser:  The Great Salvation Army Duck Race/Car & Jeep Show/BBQ Cookoff on May 21, 2022.  This is the only fundraiser our organization does during the year to support our endeavors.

Our services include assisting individuals and families with emergency assistance to help with homelessness, rent, utilities, medications, and other deemed emergency services.   This year, feeding has been our #1 priority by offering food to our entire community during the pandemic.

Every year, we also assist local families in need with food and gifts to make sure that every child, every household, every senior, every person in our community has a special loving holiday. 

We are hoping that you can help us do this by donating to our annual fundraiser, The Great Duck Race.  Items or gifts will be used  as prizes for our event.  Great prizes equal great community participation!   Cash donations will also be accepted to help us with our fundraising goal.
