Description
Each year, the Lake Cities Spirit of Christmas provides a Holiday meal for each registered and qualified family in the cities of Corinth, Hickory Creek, Lake Dallas, and Shady Shores. We provide jackets for each of the children, shoes, socks, underwear, two pairs of pants, two shirts, and up to two toys. This is a costly undertaking and most years it is a tough go but we have yet to let one child down. This year is a much harder task with COVID 19 ravaging the world. We have more children in need and less money to provide the gifts not to mention fewer grants to rely on.
But, we are the Spirit of Christmas, and no child should ever have to know what a year with Christmas is like.
