Description

Each year, the library’s summer reading program, the Summer Challenge, is our BIGGEST and most anticipated event. Last year, 11,684 people participated reading 4.38 million minutes – our most successful summer ever! The Summer Challenge is for everyone, from babies to seniors in retirement; this event is about celebrating life-long learning. The event takes place at all nine library branches in Frederick County.

Donations will be used as prizes to encourage our summer readers to reach their goals.
