A Rosie Place for Children will be hosting its 20th Annual Sweethearts Ball to support our mission of creating a world of YES for medically fragile children and the families who care for them. The annual Sweethearts Ball is an evening of dining, dancing, and celebrating children who are medically fragile. This fundraising event directly supports the love, care and fun that we provide to these children year-round through respite “sleepovers” which give children a break from their everyday routine and a chance to engage in activities and socialization that they don’t have access to daily. Children are engaged in a variety of ways to foster imagination and creativity while specially trained clinical staff provide the complex care they need to survive, and caregivers receive the gift of reprieve from the demands of 24 hour a day 7 day a week care which takes a toll on the whole family.

 The annual gala features cocktails, dinner, and dancing along with live and silent auctions and an opportunity to celebrate this underserved community and the mission of hope that A Rosie Place brings to them.
