n June of 2021, we hosted the first annual TEX Gala, presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, the largest philanthropic event in Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation history. Through the support of our guests, sponsors, and generous donors like you, we raised more than $1.7 million to benefit children and families throughout North Texas.

In 2022, we will continue our tradition of giving back as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Foundation! The 2022 TEX Gala will be held on June 20, 2022 and will feature a special performance from country music star Darius Rucker.

We anticipate that this year’s event will raise even more money than last, allowing us to continue reaching children through baseball and softball programs, youth health and educational experiences, and serving our military, veterans, and first responders.

Our live and silent auctions are a major part of what makes this evening so incredibly successful. The TEX Gala serves as a major fundraiser for the Foundation and its mission to improve the lives of children in need around North Texas. Since its inception in 1991, the Foundation has invested more than $52 million in our community. We are proud of the efforts made through the Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy at Mercy Street Sports Complex, presented by Toyota, as well as youth fitness and wellness programs like “just keep livin,” scholarships and summer programming for children in challenging circumstances.
