The Texas Jam is a soul line dancing event hosted by the 410 Line Dancers which will occur on June 17-June 19, 2022. There will be soul line dancers from the Metroplex and as well coming in from different parts of the country. We are organizing a health fair that is open to the public with goals of prevention and improved health outcomes in the community. We have noted physicians from the community that will have tables speaking about prevention in their various specialties. There will be free blood pressure screenings and vascular screenings. We are working with Be the Match to host a bone marrow registration drive. There will be raffles with free prizes to attendees. We truly think this will be a worthwhile event that will have a positive impact on our local community. . We have enlisted local media to help support the event. Majic 94.5 was on air during the previous Texas Jam health fair. The Health Fair will be Saturday, June 18, 2022, 10A-3PM. DFW Marriott Hotel in Irving, Texas.
