At The Unusual Suspects, we mentor, educate, and enrich underserved youth through the creation of collaborative, original theatre. Each year, hundreds of young artists (ages 7 -18) engage in our programs in schools and juvenile detention centers developing original, thought-provoking content on peer pressure, violence in our communities, juvenile justice, immigration, and struggles with gender and sexual identity.  

On October 27, 2023 at The Ebell of Los Angeles, The Unusual Suspects will be hosting our 30th Anniversary Celebration, an inspiring night with a live performance directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker, Carlos López Estrada, featuring a cocktail reception with appetizers and an Unusual 30th After-Party with live music.
