This yearly event offers something different for the historic downtown Sonora fun seekers and merchants alike. "The Walking Dead Sonora-Zombie Walk & Fundraiser" caters to zombie enthusiasts of all ages! From the free zombie make-up booth to the ever popular costume contest (complete with real winners plaques), this community event is an October favorite. The event includes a raffle that benefits The Tuolumne County Humane Society. We believe that zombies, human or animal, cannot survive on brains alone! Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's participation in this event will absolutely increase raffle ticket sales. The event usually sees 300+ participants and onlookers. With full color brochures, announcements during the event, and Facebook posts prior to the zombie walk, it is a great way for Six Flags to reach a more rural audience. We are confident that the winner of these passes will bring others to enjoy Discovery Kingdom's Fright Fest activities.
