The Way Out
Gala/Party for The Salvation Army - Alameda CountyMar 30, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Ever wonder how a little bit of help can change someone’s world? At The Salvation Army of Alameda County, we see it happen every day. From keeping families together in our one-of-a-kind live-in facility on Garden Street in Oakland to feeding those in need with our Mobil Meals program, we’re committed to planting seeds of hope throughout the community.
That’s why we’re inviting you to support our 10th Annual The Way Out Gala on Sunday, March 30, 2025, to benefit The Salvation Army of Alameda. We’re also thrilled to honor Alice Waters, the visionary culinary legend of Chez Panisse and the founder of the Edible Schoolyard Project, whose work in nutrition and education mirrors our own mission of helping families and children thrive.
The night will be packed with exciting auctions and stories of triumph. And while we celebrate Alice’s extraordinary work, the real magic will come from your support—helping us continue our critical services across Oakland, Berkeley, Hayward, Fremont, Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, and beyond. Whether it’s providing food, shelter, education, or emergency services, your auction item (or sponsorship) make a direct impact on the lives of those who need it most.
