Description

For over 50 years, WE has been opening doors, breaking barriers, and expanding opportunities for women. Our mission is to increase the economic status of women and remove barriers to economic equity through effecting policy change, expanding access to educational opportunities, and advocating for fair and inclusive workplaces. Proceeds from the event and raffle support our mission and purpose.

The Working Lunch (TWL) is our signature fundraiser and one of Chicago’s premiere spring events and is attended by nearly 1,000 activists, community partners, and prominent leaders in philanthropy, business, media, and politics. Previous speakers and honorees include Ariana Huffington, Monica Ramirez, and Dr. Ngozi Ezike. Through an in-kind donation, you will have the opportunity to get your business in front of our highly engaged audience.

Our raffle begins in the months leading up to The Working Lunch, culminating on the day of the event on May 23, 2024, where attendees will have one final chance to enter the raffle. Up to and on the event day, raffle donors are recognized and promoted in several ways. The level of visibility your company will receive will depend on the value of your donation, but at minimum, include listing on our website and virtual and physical program book (subject to print deadline). Higher-level donations receive shout outs on social media and our mailing list.

I truly appreciate your consideration of our request and your commitment to building women’s economic power!
