The World Needs You Here Walk is an annual community-wide event to spread awareness about mental health, mental wellness, and suicide. Our team was born and raised in Salem, and all three of us consider our community to be one of the most vital aspects of what we do at Mental Makeover.

We share our stories. We walk in honor and in loving memory of the peers we've lost to suicide. We walk for survivors of suicide. We walk for those who have experienced suicidal thoughts. We walk in honor of those struggling with their mental health right now. We come together as a community to support one another, talk openly about our experiences in a safe space, and remind each other that we are not alone. #TheWorldNeedsYouHere

Please join us for our 2nd Annual "The World Needs You Here" 3 Mile Walk to be held on the Salem Common in Salem, MA sponsored by Mental Makeover! Not only do we want to honor her and grieve for all the people we've lost, we also want our community to know that even if they are struggling with their mental health or are feeling down, we care about them and want them to know that the world needs them here.

Swag: Super soft, commemorative unisex t-shirts, guaranteed to the first 250 participants. 

Team Category: This is an easy and fun way to recruit your family, friends & colleagues. Teams must consist of at least 4+ people. Prizes will be awarded to the top three largest teams. 

Packet Pickup/Event Day Reg: Opens on race day at 8:45AM at the Salem Common.

Course: A 3 mile walk starting and finishing at the Salem Common. Map is available at www.high5em.com 

Walk Festivities: Entertainment will be provided pre & post event. A slew of community sponsors and vendors will be setup on site, kids games and an assortment of food/drink will be provided for participants. 

Parking: There is ample parking around the Common, just be mindful of permit only parking areas.
