The Albany Annual 3rd Annual Color Run for a Cause is a fundraiser to support the many educational and social-emotional programs provided to the K-5 community by the PTA.  Each year the PTA funds STEAM workshops, cultural arts assemblies, reading and literacy programs, sports and fitness events, anti-bullying/inclusion activities and much more.  In addition, we support teachers with stipends to make purchases for their classrooms, give free books to students and help subsidize field trips and other events.  This annual event helps to raise the funds needed to provide these things to the community, which is a Title I school.
