Talley Street Upper Elementary School is a neighborhood school within the City Schools of Decatur, Georgia that opened its doors in August 2019. The mission of Talley Street Upper Elementary’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to provide financial assistance for activities and events that support our school’s expeditionary learning objectives, enrich our school culture, and build a sense of community. We work hard to support the diverse needs of our nearly 700 students at Talley (3rd, 4th, and 5th graders) and the teachers and staff who instruct them. Talley is currently on the list of Georgia Title 1 Schools.

The Talley PTO will hold its 3rd annual fundraiser, TigerFest, on Saturday, March 23, 2024. TigerFest is a community-wide festival featuring carnival games and prizes, live musical performances, an artist’s market, concessions, and a silent auction. This event raises money to help fund student field trips, school events and activities, diversity and equity programs, our school garden and health/wellness initiatives, teacher appreciation events, and other needs as they arise in our school community.
