The Land Conservancy of McHenry County's Annual Celebration brings TLC members and friends together for a celebration of the good works completed in the previous year. We recognize the volunteers who work so hard to preserve land for life in McHenry County, as well as the land owners make the choice to preserve their land for life with the assistance of TLC. 

This event attracts environmentally conscious adults in the Chicago suburbs.

Get ready to welcome spring and celebrate the beauty of our Earth with high tea and an inspring presentation by Cindy Crosby on The Tallgrass Prairie in Art, Music, Literature and More!

Date: Sunday, April 23, 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Location: Bull Valley Golf Club
1311 Club Rd. Woodstock, 60098

TLC Member: $45 by March 24, $50 after March 24
Nonmember: $65 by March 24, $70 after March 24, nonmember ticket price includes a one-year membership to TLC.

Sponsor table of 10: $750 and includes premium location, two bottles of wine (one red, one white), recognition at the event, in the event program and on the TLC Annual Celebration web page.

New this year – Celebrate spring and enjoy an afternoon “high tea” with TLC, which includes sandwiches, salad, desserts, coffee, tea and a cash bar. You will have the opportunity to order native plants, bid on exciting silent auction items, and of course take the time to connect with friends old and new. Invite a friend – this is a great opportunity to learn more about how TLC preserves land for life in McHenry County!

We will also celebrate the people, places and achievements that make TLC the vital organization it is by recognizing the many volunteers and partners who work to preserve and restore land in McHenry County.

Discover how the tallgrass prairie – Illinois’ original garden – is a place of inspiration for creatives of all types. Enjoy the work of quilters, painters, musicians, jewelers, filmmakers, writers, sculptors and photographers who share the prairie through their work. Be energized to think about how you can use native prairie plants in your garden as a springboard for creativity, and come away with a new appreciation for our “landscape of home.”
