Concern for Animals (CFA) has been providing for the people and pets of Thurston, Mason, Lewis, and now Grays Harbor counties in Washington state for over 40 years – this year marks our 44th! We have helped keep families together through programs that serve seniors, veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, and members of our shared community that are struggling to make ends meet. From our Medical Program to our weekly Pet Food Bank, our efforts help over 1,000 animals annually, keeping furry friends with their families, and service animals providing life-saving care. 

But to keep providing service, we need the help of animal-loving businesses like yours.

CFA runs on a tight budget with a small team of employees and volunteers that are dedicated to the mission of keeping pets and their people together. Our programs are funded through generous grantors each year, but our operational costs depend on the success of our annual fundraiser, Toast for Tails. 

In order to keep operating, CFA must raise approximately $90,000 or more at our fundraiser.

Toast for Tails is returning as a hybrid event with an online auction running October 14th – 20th 2024 and an in-person live auction the evening of October 19th at the SPSCC Lacey Campus. We are requesting a confirmation of inclusion so that we can better set reasonable expectations for our fundraising efforts. Businesses that would like to align themselves with our mission and show their support can sponsor the event [email odc.cfa@gmail.com for sponsor levels] or donate items, baskets, certificates, services, or experiences to be included in the Toast for Tails auction. The event is attended by hundreds of community members annually – all excited to see their favorite businesses support a cause they stand behind.
