Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and is the historic home of the founder of the city of San Clemente. Casa Romantica provides programs for all ages in arts, music, history, horticulture, and literature and is a premier Southern California cultural center.  

Youth arts education lies at the heart of Casa Romantica’s mission. During our most recent season, we saw unprecedented growth in the area of our free and low-cost Casa Kids programs. In addition to offering our annual Music Academy and Dance Workshop for under-served youth, we implemented a $1 ticket program for children attending classical music concerts, music and movement classes for babies and toddlers, and “activity backpacks” for children touring Casa Romantica with games and lessons inside related to Casa Romantica’s history and exhibitions.

The funds raised at our annual gala, Toast to the Casa are largely responsible for these enriching programs. Our 2019 theme, Toast to the Casa: The Enchanted Garden invites guests through Casa Romantica’s keyhole door to discover surprises around every corner of our innermost enchanted gardens. This year’s gala will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Experiential entertainment will include:

• Unicorns, fairies, and butterflies
• Acrobats
• Garden-inspired cocktails and cigar lounges
• A swing-style Big Band
• A Wishing-Well-of-Wine
• Gourmet food and beverages from local vendors
• Premier live and silent auctions
