Our gala dinner dance and silent auction is our largest fundraising event and anyone is invited to purchase a ticket.  It supports the programs of the Laurel Historical Society.   The Society preserves the cultural heritage of Laurel, past, present, and in the future.  We have a museum that is free for all to enjoy.  We host free monthly programs, quarterly special children's days, welcome group tours of all kinds, host researchers in our library, aid local school clubs (history and archaeology), and conduct several free summer camps.  We would like to raise $25,000 -$30,000.  This is our first gala since the pandemic.  Donors are listed at the event, in our program booklet, on our website, and social media.
