Description
Every year, Harrisonburg Little League (HLLA) hosts a silent auction in honor of Tony Montavon, a beloved HLLA coach, umpire and volunteer. After his untimely passing in 2013, HLLA started the Tony Montavon Scholarship Fund to support underprivileged youth in Harrisonburg, Virginia. All funds raised through the silent auction are used to cover registration costs for those children who cannot afford to do so. Harrisonburg Little League believes every child should have the opportunity to play baseball or softball, no matter their financial situation.
