Hello!

My name is Stacy Jenkins and I’m the Founder & Director of Jenkins Forever Farm, a 501(c)(3) non-profit vegan farmed and exotic animal sanctuary located in Edinburgh, IN.

We currently provide lifelong care for over 100 animals, spanning 15 different species. In addition to running the sanctuary, we do a lot of community outreach including hosting two Open Barn Events each year, where we open our doors to the public at no charge. We have games, crafts, introductions to the residents, a vegan food truck and more. We generally have 300-400 guests in attendance. In addition, we host bi-weekly (during warm months) visits for adult day centers who provide care for adults with disabilities. We currently work with three different groups from various parts of Indiana and facilitate everything from crafts to sanctuary projects.

The property we live and currently run the sanctuary on is just under six acres so we’ve been maxed out on capacity for a few years.

Two years ago, my husband and I bought an additional seven acres to expand our sanctuary and provide a new four acre space for our 11 alpacas & 6 sheep and one acre pasture with a beautiful pond for our 42 ducks and 11 geese.

Unfortunately, we’ll be making payments on the property for another eight years, so we haven’t personally had the funds needed to develop the land (well, power, fencing and barns) and it’s too large an amount for us to raise in one social media fundraiser.

To make this dream a reality, we need to raise $50,000!

We decided the best chance we have is to host an exciting event for the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse, on the very land we’re fundraising for!

We’re located directly in the path of totality, so we’re hoping to draw a huge crowd, approximately 500 people (with up to 250 overnight campers.
