Greetings from Loma Portal Elementary! 

On May 3, 2019, the Loma Portal Foundation will be hosting “Totally 80s!!,” our annual dinner and auction at the Southwestern Yacht Club. The Foundation’s goal is to raise funds in excess of $50,000 at this event to benefit elementary children in our area.

We are seeking donations & event sponsorships to help fundraise for a very unique, hands-on learning STEAM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math), including an outdoor classroom and a native habitat garden. We are also raising funds to create a legacy of instruction in our STEAM program. In addition to this project, the Loma Portal Foundation also provides funding for programs the district does not fund, such as a librarian, music instruction, computer skills instruction, student enrichment programs and much more.

It is only through kind and generous donations made by businesses like YOU that we can continue to provide such vital programs to the children. 

Ready to help? We would love anything you can donate to the auction: professional services, gift cards, merchandise, etc. Your contribution will be prominently displayed (either online or at the event) and will be acknowledged for all attendees. Our auction provides exposure to hundreds of Point Loma families including alumni and community members who bid online and attend the silent & live event auction. This is a great opportunity to show your support for our school, while generating goodwill in the community.
