EVENT OVERVIEW

Touch-a-Truck is a hands-on learning experience for children to explore, climb and touch their favorite big trucks and vehicles as well as meet the professionals who protect, build and serve the South Hampton Roads community. We will have fire trucks, police cars, heavy machinery, construction equipment, military vehicles and more. Activities, food trucks and vendors will also be available throughout the day. Last year there were over 30 vehicles on-site for families to explore!  VIP ticket holders will enjoy an exclusive hour starting at 9:00 a.m. before the event is opened to the general public at 10:00 a.m.  We will have a quiet hour from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. when there will be no horns, lights or sirens to allow those with sensory issues or sensitive hearing to attend and enjoy the event.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Touch-a-Truck offers sponsors an excellent opportunity to showcase their business or organization and interact with parents, children and our community at large. There are multiple ways for your organization to participate: event sponsorship, vehicle or vendor participation, or in-kind support services. Sponsorship packages include a variety of pre-event marketing, sponsor acknowledgements, event tickets and event hospitality.

 EVENT IMPACT

The previous event raised over $17,500 to support the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach, Inc. in its mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve communities through effective action and leadership of trained women. Our nearly 400 members collaborate with partner agencies and community advisors to deliver more than 7,000 volunteer hours in the community each year.
