10:00 a.m. til Noon

Arbor Day Celebration raises awareness about nature and features demontrations of equipment used in the town's Forestry Department. Also, attendees will be able to win prizes and take home seedlings to plant their own trees. The Town is celebrating its 22nd year of being recognized as a Tree City Community. It ends a week of events partnering with area schools as well as recognizing winners of the Arbor Day Poster Contest. The Lancaster Garden Club will help children to plant and take home flowers. Children will also enjoy the restocking of fish in the Westwood Park Pond. Following the many events of the day there will be a lunch provided. This event is free of charge thanks to the many generous organizations who provide donations.
