Parents Helping Parents (PHP) provides support, information, and training to help families raise children with any diagnosis. PHP also helps families understand and navigate complex systems of care. In the past year, PHP served over 6,400 families in crisis, provided 666 training webinars and online support groups, and 6,000 hours of e-learning library videos.

PHP provides information based on an individual’s disability or diagnosis, teaches families about educational rights for their children and how to navigate the special education process through IEPs and 504 plans, parent and caregiver support groups, explains lifetime milestones and how to navigate them, and provides assistive technology support.

Parents Helping Parents Inc, a San Jose based nonprofit that has been serving families of individuals with disabilities for the past 48 years. We hold an annual gala event to raise money to fund these efforts. Our next gala will be held on April 20, 2024 at the Orchard City Banquet Hall in Campbell. More than 200 people are expected to attend. One of the event’s most popular features is an auction, and we were hoping that you might consider donating a 2 night stay gift certificate for us to include among our offerings.
