COTC, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, is located in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. The work that has been accomplished through our programs over more than 20 years has resulted in over 5,000 people in Southern Bergen County and surrounding communities receiving much-needed help.

Our Mission:

COTC's mission is to help enrich the lives of the people of Northern New Jersey. Through educational programs and the exploration of the arts, it provides opportunities to increase people's awareness, creativity and confidence, using a balanced approach to knowledge, as well as visual and performing arts experiences. Our Programs:

Among the many popular programs COTC has offered to the community are: o 44 12-week semesters of English as a Second Language (ESL), serving over 1,507 individuals from103 countries;

o 44 productions of Kids on the Corner (KOTC), a cultural arts program for children in grades 2 - 6, serving 606 youths from 20 communities;

o 2 sessions of ARTS Today in NJ, an arts program for children in grades 6 - 12; o 3 sessions of Summer Tutoring and the Homework Club;

o 24 sessions of NewARTS Kids, an applied arts program for children in grades 1 - 6; o 7 seasons of planting a Community Garden with produce being donated to the local food pantry; o 4 sessions of creating Container Gardens; and

o 9 sessions of Tutoring for Children in the Inclusive Environment *
