Description
On March 18, Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley will host its signature fundraiser, the Trivia Bee for Literacy. Teams of three adults from local businesses, schools, libraries, and organizations will compete for the championship.
The theme is a take-off on the Sonny & Cher hit, "The Beat Goes On." Questions will be about the late 60s, the early 70s, and beats of all kinds.
Proceeds will benefit adult literacy. Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley helps adults communicate in English by matching them with trained volunteer tutors one to one. As a result, they adapt to life in the U.S. and become better workers, effective parents, and engaged community members.
