On April 16th, the Friends of Honduras will be hosting a trivia contest and silent auction to benefit the poor of Aguacate and Guanacaste, in the state of Intubuca, Honduras.  We anticipate 80-100 guests at the event and it will be held at the Sons of Rest Pavilion in Tower Grove Park in St. Louis

Every July, I lead a medical/dental team to these two remote, mountain communities of approximately 1000 total individuals.  We provide preventive care (vitamins, toothbrushes & paste, nutrition services) as well as chronic & acute care services.

We respectfully request a gift that can be used in our silent auction.  The income from this auction will be earmarked for a years’ supply of vitamins for each child, the chronic and acute medications we carry, and funding to maintain the community chicken coop projects in each of the villages—chickens that provide 2-3 eggs, each week, to each of the children in the village schools.
