The annual Trunk or Treat at Oakwood Shores is an event that many of our residents look forward to. A large majority of our attendees are residents of Oakwood Shores, however it is a public event welcoming individuals from the surrounding Oakland,Hyde Park, Kenwood, and Bronzeville communities. Partners and Staff decorate and open up their car trunks to chidren who are typically dressed in costumes. There will be games, snacks, a costume contest, and a raffle. As a donor you will be instrumental in helping us enhance this experience for our youth here. Anything provided goes a long way but we are looking for partners willing to provide a car where they would provide candy and candy bag donations. All partners/donors are welcome to set up a table as well the day of to promote programs,business, etc. as well. If you are interested in joining our efforts at Oakwood Shores, it would be wonderful to work alongside you in service to our youth residents and the youth in the surrounding communities.
