Description
The Salt Creek Park District is having a Turtle Trek Fundraiser Race & raffle on Friday, Augst 5 at Twin Lakes in Palatine. This is a fun family freindly event to try and raise money for the park district sponsorship fund to assist families in need. This event is where we race our plastic fleet of turtles in our Donut Lake. The first place prize for the winning turtle is $500 and the next 40 tutles that come in will win a prize donated by local businesses'. We usually get about 400-500 people attend the race and "adopt" a numbered turtle for our race.
We are looking for raffle prizes and donations for our fundraiser race. We would greatly appreciate your support.
