Organization - Since 1994, Piedmont Care has served more than 1800 people living with HIV/AIDS and their families.  In 2004 Piedmont Care initiated a community HIV prevention program.  Since that time, more than 1700 people have learned their HIV status and received prevention counseling through our free HIV testing programs and thousands of our neighbors have accessed free condoms and HIV prevention education.  Piedmont Care served 3 counties in the Upstate of SC - Spartanburg, Union and Cherokee.  

Statement of Need - South Carolina is ranked 11th in the nation for AIDS case rates.  Approximately 13% of people in the US infected with HIV are unaware of their status.  The South has the highest HIV diagnosis rate in the US regiona,  Piedmont Care receives no public oney to the support the community HIV prevention program.

Event - Twisted Trivia is a spiced up/adult trivia fundraiser.  You must be 21 or older to attend.  Prizes for team winners, best team name, best costume, best table decoration.  To raise the funds, we are selling tickets, soliticiting sponsorships, as well as holding a silent auction.    Free hors d'ourves, cash bar (wine and beer)
