TXJRD Holiday Silent Auction
Online Auction for Texas Junior Roller DerbyDec 01, 2024 to Dec 15, 2024
Greetings!
I hope this finds you well. The Texas Junior Roller Derby team (TXJRD) here in Austin, Texas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit junior sports club established in 2014 that is focused on building character and leadership through the sport of roller derby for skaters from all over Austin aged 8-17 years old.
Our TXJRD team is excited to host a silent auction online fundraiser and we are requesting your assistance. This event will take place December 1-15 with over 500 participants. By supporting our silent auction with a donation of merchandise, services, or gift cards, your business will be helping to support our roller derby team’s expenses.
Last year marked an extraordinary milestone for TXJRD as we embarked on our first-ever journey to the post-season playoffs in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Our team was able to make it to the tournament thanks to generous donors, such as yourself, helping in our fundraising efforts. Our players are excited to plan for this season’s post-season tournament again, but many of them face financial constraints that hinder their ability to attend this trip. As an organization committed to inclusivity and accessibility, TXJRD is dedicated to supporting all players regardless of their financial circumstances.
In appreciation of your generous donation, we would be delighted to acknowledge Treaty Oaks Distilling in our weekly newsletter, on our website, and across our social media platforms, including our TXJRD Facebook and Instagram pages, which have over 2,300 followers.
We understand that you receive numerous donation requests and must carefully choose where to allocate your resources. We are grateful for your time and consideration and hope that you will support our cause. Your contribution would make a significant impact on our young athletes and help ensure the success of our event.
Thank you in advance,
Cyndi Larrimore
TXJRD Board Secretary
