Description

Known as Sacramento’s premier humanitarian award, this fundraising dinner will include an auction to help raise funds for the 5,730 children and adults supported by UCP’s programs.

For more than 62 years, UCP of Sacramento and Northern California has been dedicated to empowering people with all types of developmental disabilities to live life without limits. The purpose of the Foundation for UCP is to fund the future needs of today’s children born with autism, intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, epilepsy and cerebral palsy.

The UCP Humanitarian of the Year Event is Sacramento’s premier Humanitarian award dinner. Last year’s Humanitarian of the Year Award Dinner was attended by 690 community leaders at the Hyatt Regency and raised more than $323,000.

The 25th annual UCP Humanitarian of the Year Award Dinner will be honoring Ann Madden Rice, Chief Executive Officer of UC Davis Medical Center for her ongoing commitment to giving back to the community.
