Each year the Illini Service Dogs Organization puts on a Pet-A-Pup event during the yearly Dad's Weekend at UIUC in November. During the UIUC Dad's Weekend Pet-A-Pup event, the public can meet, pet, and interact with our service dogs in training when they donate (no donation minimum or maximum) to the organization. Illini Service Dogs use this time to educate the public on our organization, mobility service dogs, and disability culture and rights. We also sell raffles tickets ($10 dollars) to win a basket of goodies and gifts (such as tickets, gift cards, t-shirts, blankets, coffee mugs, etc.) during the UIUC Dad's Weekend Pet-A-Pup event on Saturday, November 11th, 2023. We will randomly choose a ticket, announce the winner, and deliver the basket the next day on Sunday, November 12th, 2023. Illini Service Dogs continue to run completely on fundraising public donations and by our dedicated volunteers who make it possible to provide our dogs to their partner free of cost. All proceeds raised from the Pet-A-Pup event and raffle ticket sells will go directly to our organization.Thanks so much for your time and consideration!
