Please join us for our Un-Gala for Youth Mental Health, our annual fundraiser taking place the evening of October 14th, 2021. This year’s event will feature A Conversation with youth positively effect by our program as well as community members. 

As we navigate reentering society after the coronavirus’s impact, it’s clear that de-stigmatizing mental health and helping youth find the help they need are vitally important. Youth mental health was at a crisis prior to the coronavirus, and the experts agree—due to the pandemic, mental health outcomes have worsened in the last year.

Now more than ever, Massachusetts kids need caring organizations like you to lead on youth mental health.

Thanks to supporters like you, the Shine Initiative has worked directly with educators and students in more schools every year—from 18 schools four years ago to 50 now. During the shutdown, students and educators continued to turn to Shine; including a sixfold increase in website traffic. Funds raised enable us to continue our Mindmatters teams (school wellness clubs), as well as our annual Student Mental Wellness Summits.
