Description

On May 16, 2020 over 300 guests will gather at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel to raise funds for Sacramento Country Day School, the only nonprofit, independent, coeducational, college preparatory school in the Sacramento area. “Una Noche de Cine” will celebrate the diversity and joy of a community coming together for a fantastic event that supports a wonderful cause. The Spanish expression is not meant to be translated literally- it is an idea of perfection. Life isn’t always as magical as the movies, but for one night it will be! We are hoping that your support will truly make this a Night to Remember…

Please consider a tax-deductible donation to our auction. Not only will you be making an important investment in education, but your business will be honored in all marketing materials and signage, providing exposure and inspiring goodwill. We are eminently proud of our close-knit community and are dedicated to innovative learning and diversity. Because of funds raised at this event, we are able to provide full high school scholarships per grade per year as well as significant tuition assistance to nearly 40% of our students - ensuring access to our unparalleled curriculum and special programs.

Our students are taught to embody our Mission principles: “Think Critically. Live Creatively. Act Compassionately.” They grow and harvest produce for the River City Food Bank, raise funds for Run to Feed the Hungry, volunteer to tutor, and collect materials and financial donations for schools here in Sacramento and their sister school in Rulindo, Rwanda. Through the example of your contribution, you are inspiring a new generation of socially responsible, innovative and caring leaders.

If you would like to donate, please complete the enclosed form and return it to the address below by April 22nd to be included in our event. If you have questions, please call or email us at auction@saccds.org. Your contribution will truly make a difference in the life of a child.
