Description

THIS SIGNATURE EVENT BENEFITS THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE FOR YEARS TO COME IN GRAYS HARBOR AND PACIFIC COUNTIES.
1 in 4 people you meet every day are struggling.  United Way is changing this.  We look for every dollar we can to fight for our community.  United we fight so kids can reach milestones.  United, we stand up to support families.  United, we battle educational barriers.  United, we confront the struggles.  United, we surround our communities most critical problems, and we fight.  Join the fight.  United Way is moving families from poverty to prosperity and with your help, we can create more pathways to that possibility.  Together we are the hand raisers.  The game changers.  The stop talking, start doing, band together and take on the impossible taskmasters!

THE BLACK & WHITE GALA IS ALWAYS AMAZING AND WE HOPE YOU CAN JOIN WITH US.
With over 400 guests in attendance, this black tie event starts with a cocktail reception, served appetizers, silent auction & games.  Guests gather in the Grand Hall for a 5 course plated dinner, live auction and much more, then top the night off at the After Hours Dance Party.  We strive to make this event as memorable & extravagant as possible while maximizing profits for our local programs.  In other words, we try to achieve "caviar" on a dollar store budget.

TEEN UNITED NOW A MAJOR ELEMENT AT THE GALA.
Over 80 teens from 4 local school districts, design, prepare, and serve the 5 course meal.  Students at last years Gala gained the attention of Seattle Seahawk Tariq Woolen who was so overcome by their service, he donated brand new shoes and his time to these students.  Teen United students work within their school and community to encourage peers to break out of the generational cycle of poverty and provide support before the crisis of poverty even happens!
