Description
Unity in the Community is an annual event to recognize all first responders in our County. The event kicks off with a parade of first reponders being escorted by bagpipes, followed by the posting of the colors, and several guest speakers and entertainment. The guest speakers all talk about the importance of the community to first responders, as well as what we can do to support our first responders.
The event is followed up with fun in the park with lots of free items, as well as food trucks, and games for the family.
This is also used as a community kick off to National Night Out / Safe Community.
