Description

Through the gift of art, Liberated Flow Foundation Inc. dba Liberated Arts Foundation will host its Liberated Flow Charity Art Gala. Each year, the gala benefits and focuses on a local non-profit organization that aligns with the organizations key areas of giving - education and health. This year's event will focus on Unmasking Mental Health with a well curated art show that depicts the struggles and triumphs of those who are unable to manage their mental health or have a mental illness. Event proceeds will be donated to assist a local, Richmond, VA based, nonprofit organization in furthering its mission. This year’s event will benefit the St. Luke Legacy Center.

Founded in July 2020, the mission of the St. Luke Legacy Center Foundation, Inc. is to build on the original Independent Order of St Luke’s mission when it was led by Maggie L. Walker; by fostering economic independence and social advancement of the African American community. The organization believes that continuing the legacy means equipping the community with tools and resources, such as holistic wraparound services and programming that cater to the whole family's needs - youth, young adults, adults, and seniors. St. Luke Legacy Center envisions spaces in every community, curated specifically for African Americans, that confront the issues and bring the best solutions.
