Description

The University of North Texas Dance Marathon is a year-long fundraising effort in which students, faculty, and members of the Denton community come together to raise awareness and donations in support of our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, Cook Children's. This year of fundraising efforts will conclude with a dance marathon on February 19, 2022, where students will stay up and on their feet to celebrate the patients from Cook Children's and the participants' hard work. Families from Cook Children's will join participants in games, food, fun, and celebration before the final total is revealed in a closing ceremony. All money raised will go towards Cook Children's Creative Artist in Residence Programme. Eaglethon at UNT is a unique and exciting tradition dedicated to raising awareness and funds to serve the families of Cook Children's and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals while engaging students and the community to create Leaders, Dancers, and MIRACLES!
