Dear Donor,

Jacqueline Vaughn Occupational High School provides a specialized education for over two hundred students with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Chicago. The students require specialized technology and extra support to help them access the necessary training and education to become independent and gain valuable job skills for post high school.

This year, Friends of Vaughn, the fundraising arm for the high school, is sponsoring the annual Vaughn Fest, which will be held on Saturday, June11th  from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Vaughn Occupational High School, 4355 N. Linder, Chicago, IL 60641. We have set a fundraising goal of $10,000 in order to purchase the following:

assistive technology and software
transportation costs to visit job-training sites as well as community-based instruction
There are a number of ways that you can assist us in helping us reach our goal:

donate goods or services such as gift cards/gift certificates or event tickets to be used as raffle items
make a contribution via check to “Friends of Vaughn” with “Vaughn Fest” in the memo
contact the school to inquire other ways your business might be able to support our school
All items donated will be acknowledged in the programs - both electronic and printed, as well as on signs and in our newsletter. As always, we thank you in advance for any level of assistance that you are able to offer.
