Description

This year, Friends of Vaughn, the fundraising arm for the high school, is sponsoring the annual Vaughn Fest, which will be held on Saturday, May 18th  from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Vaughn Occupational High School, 4355 N. Linder, Chicago, IL 60641. The Silent Auction will begin a week before and run until the end of Vauhn Fest. We have set a fundraising goal of $10,000 in order to purchase the following:

  • assistive technology and software
  • transportation costs to visit job-training sites as well as community-based instruction

Jacqueline Vaughn Occupational High School provides a specialized education for over two hundred students with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Chicago. The students require specialized technology and extra support to help them access the necessary training and education to become independent and gain valuable job skills for post high school.
