For more than thirty-five years, Opera Atelier has dazzled, inspired and shared their love of opera, ballet and music with audiences of all ages across Toronto and the world. It is in this spirit that Opera Atelier is reaching out to our community for support as we seek to continue our free enhanced arts education programming and artist development programs to more than 1,000 Greater Toronto area students.

Over the past two years we have been able to expand our education programming  to focus on underserved young people – in particular students from the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, Blind and Partially Sighted community and students from the LGBTQ+ community. It is the generous support that we raise at our Versailles Gala that has allowed us to provide our unique arts education programming for these diverse groups of students.

This spring, Toronto's most discerning arts patrons will join us on
May 30^th at the Shangri-La Hotel for Opera Atelier’s 2019 Versailles Gala, an event celebrating the company’s triumphant international tour, which included our Chicago debut at the prestigious Harris Theatre and our return to the Palace of Versailles for performances in November 2018. The gala will feature performances by Opera Atelier leading ladies and gentlemen, including world-renowned singers and dancers.

This is our single largest fundraising event of the season. Contributions support our education programs, our outreach programs, and our artist development programs which have been offered free of charge since the company’s inception, as well as supporting our international touring. We are looking for gifts in support of our silent auction which would help us reach our goals and continue to provide these incredible education and outreach programs to youth and underserved communities across the GTA.
