We invite you to support the Community Assistance Center (CAC) by donating a silent auction item for our “Under the Tuscan Sun” Vintage Affair gala. The “live yet virtual” event will be held Saturday, October 23rd and will be broadcast to multiple gatherings throughout metro Atlanta. With the support of our Hosts, Sponsors, and Auction Donors, we hope to raise more than $250,000 to support individuals and families who face financial challenges due to unexpected life events and the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

During 2020, CAC provided food to about 6,400 people and gave $2M in financial assistance to help 1,365 families avoid eviction and stay in their homes during. While we can begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel, the unprecedented need in our community is ongoing. Funds from Vintage Affair will help ensure thousands of our neighbors have a roof over their head, food on their table, clothing for work and play and essentials for their children as they work toward greater economic stability.

As a silent auction donor, your products and services will be featured on our Mobile Bidding platform for our 400 guests. Your business and your donation will be listed on the Vintage Affair website and in the Event program. If possible, items will be displayed in a public location prior to the event. We believe this is an excellent opportunity to promote goodwill for your company by supporting the premier local area non-profit whose mission is to help others. By combating hunger, preventing homelessness and offering hope, CAC provides our clients with a path to economic stability during their time of need.

CAC receives support from 27 area congregations, the City of Sandy Springs, Fulton County, the Sandy Springs Society, United Way, local and national businesses, civic organizations and private foundations as well as hundreds of individual supporters and more than 400 regular volunteers. Annually, we receive about $1,500,000 of donated goods and manage operations with 425 regular volunteers who donate $900,000 worth of free labor. This support has enabled CAC to help more than 24,000 families in need throughout its 33 years of service.
