Description

Centro Romero is a nonprofit for immigrant and refugee education. We have been instrumental in helping newcomers integrate into the communities based around Chicago and the Midwest for 36 years. In the last decade alone, our organization has been able to assist over 115,000 individuals with services ranging from youth development, healthcare, legal services, adult education, and domestic violence prevention.  Centro Romero’s service to immigrant and refugee communities has only grown more vital as this year’s unprecedented events further isolate the most vulnerable around our country and the world.

This year, our annual fundraising event has gone digital, adapting to the times just as our services have. Our annual event aims to increase funding for such vital resources as online classes, and access to the internet. We are also developing new and innovative ways to support survivors of domestic violence, an often invisible burden that can be even more isolating while social distancing.

That is why we are asking you to be a partner in our annual celebration. Will you donate a gift card or digital service for our silent auction during our evening’s online gala? This year’s event will be held on the evening of Thursday, October 15th, 2020, on an entirely digital platform. And, as a thank you for your generous donation, we would like to extend an invitation for your team to attend the event, at no cost.

By donating silent auction items, your organization will be viewed by professionals and representatives from members of Chicago’s media, constituents within the political arena, Chicago’s medical community, and major business associates from all over the Midwest. We would also be happy to promote your brand during the night, whether you would prefer that we include a short announcement or insert a brief advertising spot for your business.
