Description

It is estimated that over 513,000 women and girls in the United States are at risk of or have undergone FGM/C. The U.S. End FGM/C Network is a collaborative group of over 200 survivors, civil society organizations, foundations, activists, policymakers, researchers, healthcare providers, and others committed to promoting the abandonment of female genital mutilation and cutting (FGM/C) in the United States and globally.

The U.S. End FGM/C Network is celebrating our five year anniversary this year as a formal organization. As a result, we have big plans to continue building momentum in the United States to end this harmful practice, but we can’t do this alone. We kindly ask that you consider making a donation to our silent auction to support us in our fundraiser for this incredibly important cause. By making a donation to our virtual silent auction, your partnership will directly support our mission of ending FGM/C in the United States.

This November, you can help us raise funds to end FGM/C in the United States in celebration of #GivingTuesday. We are planning to host an online virtual silent auction with the goal of raising $10,000 in support of The U.S. End FGM/C Network and our mission of ending FGM/C in the United States.

The U.S. End FGM/C Network functions as a platform that facilitates collaboration and information sharing, empowers grassroots organizations and supports survivors, builds bridges between U.S. based and international efforts to end FGM/C, influences policies and laws on FGM/C, and leads both national and global efforts to frame the issue of FGM/C in a broad and intersectional manner.
