Thank you for considering a donation towards the California Creative Learning Academy’s virtual Silent Auction on May 26th - June 1st, 2024. As a public charter school, our academic program is funded by the State of California, but our Arts Integration Program and our Arts Specialists (e.g. visual arts, media arts, theater, dance and music) are not revenue generating, so we must rely on other funding sources for these positions.

California Creative Learning Academy & California Creative Learning Academy Middle School (CalCreative) provide a unique learning environment that cultivates the skills to mindfully create what one imagines through creative processes as a purposeful way of being. We are an education for all that embraces the power of possibility through a holistic approach to learning, authentic experiences, and the ability to effect social change. Exploring the world through creative processes allows us to cultivate the skills of creativity, curiosity, empathy and connection, as we mindfully learn to create what we imagine as a mindset.

We value arts integration as a critically important process that actively engages students in their learning through self-expression, identifying multiple perspectives and developing one’s own sense of self and voice. This innovative model also includes the values of social and emotional learning, restorative justice, and project-based learning.

Your donation would be a meaningful gift to the CalCreative Virtual Auction and would help ensure the continued success of the school’s arts integration programs and the 500 students who benefit from them each year.
