Erskine Lakes Beach Club Virtual Tricky Tray Fundraiser
Other Event Type for Erskine Lakes FoundationAug 06, 2021 from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM
I am writing on behalf of the Erskine Lakes Foundation to invite you to make a donation of goods or services to our Erskine Lakes Beach Club Virtual Fundraiser, a non-profit 501(c)(3) event, live-streamed from the Upper Lake Pavilion in Ringwood, NJ. During these difficult economic times, we realize that each business owner will need to weigh whether or not this is a good marketing opportunity for his or her business to bring in new customers and to raise awareness of the investment in community-based, not-for-profit youth organizations. We will absolutely understand if this is not financially feasible at this time. Our fundraiser attracts an average of 225 participants who will each receive a digital fundraising program. This program will include a list of businesses that made a donation to our fundraiser, and each donation will be included with the distribution of the ticket sale information to our ELPOA Community.
Health and safety concerns have necessitated a change in our usual fundraiser to a virtual format. In this new format, participants preselect the items in which they are interested when they purchase their tickets. Therefore, we will need all donations by June 30, 2021 in order to list each donation on the ticket sale form for the event on August 6, 2021
The Erskine Lakes Beach Club is a volunteer-based and not-for-profit summer youth program. The program uses a youth leadership model for children ages 4-16 with youth over 16 serving as Red Cross certified lifeguards and camp counselors who are supervised by adult volunteers. The youth teach swimming lessons and lead sports activities, STEAM programs, and crafts. The youth often times choose to volunteer in lieu of pay to give back to their community or for school required service hours. The program runs all summer and commences with our large fundraiser to keep the program going. We are fortunate to have a community of volunteers that invests in the youth to keep them active over the long summer. The program model instills many values desirable in good citizens.
Our Tax-Exempt I.D. number is 46-4689835.
The program is only sustainable through fundraising effort and contribution from businesses like yours. Please consider donating an item or gift card to our annual fundraiser held on August 6, 2021. Doors open at 6:30. If you would like to donate, please mail it by June 30, 2021 to Erskine Lakes Foundation ATTN: Kim Link, 23 Laurel Pl, Ringwood, NJ 07456 or P.O. Box 64, Ringwood, NJ 07456 or email Kim at calink962@gmail.com to arrange for pickup.
Thank you for your consideration and your prospective interest in helping the Youth Program at Erskine Lakes.
Sincerely,
Kim Link
