Description

The VNA Stoll for Hospice will be held at the Central Park Plaza in Valparaiso (Home to the Northwest Health Amphitheater), on May 5, 2024. The Stroll is a one-day event from Noon to 4 pm in which we stroll, eat, play and remember loved ones while supporting our Hospice Programs! Family activities include picnic lunch, raffle baskets, t-shirt sales to crafts, games, informational booths and more.

VNA Hospice of NWI provides services to assist the ill, elderly, terminally ill, and disabled remain safe and independent at home. Our goal is to "Make Best Days Possible" for our patients and families and help people have quality of life for as long as life lasts. The VNA provides hospice care in patient's homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and in the homes of caregivers. In addition, the VNA provides inpatient hospice care at the Arthur B. and Ethel V. Horton VNA Hospice Center. The VNA also provides supportive care, including VNA Meals on Wheels and Lifeline. These services help enable patients to remain safe and independent in their homes. In addition, the VNA also provides grief support for children and their families at the VNA Phoenix Center, located in Valparaiso, Indiana. Thanks to community support VNA Hospice of NWI is able to provide care to anyone in need, regardless of their financial situation.

Events like the Stroll help us, as a non-profit, continue to provide hospice care in our community.
