On Tuesday April 21, HandsOn San Diego (HOSD) will be hosting our annual volunteer appreciation event, also known as VolunCHEERS. We’ve invited volunteers and their families to join us in celebrating them! 

HandsOn San Diego is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through volunteerism. Our mission is to strengthen communities through volunteer action. We believe that when individuals are actively engaged, communities are stronger. We serve as a one-stop hub for volunteers seeking meaningful opportunities, while providing guidance and information to nonprofits looking to build or expand their volunteer programs. By empowering individuals and organizations to collaborate, we promote civic responsibility and work to address the most pressing needs of our community.

Last year, volunteers with HandsOn San Diego volunteered for over 35,000 hours throughout San Diego County to support our 100+ nonprofit partners. Our volunteers deserve all of the support possible to feel celebrated and appreciated. 

We’re excited to share that our small team is putting together a raffle with donations coming from our San Diego County community. We’d love to have you or your organization join us in donating raffle item prizes for our wonderful group of volunteers. As a nonprofit with a limited budget, any donation would be greatly appreciated. We would love to promote your donation on our social media, in our newsletter, and at the event.
