My name is Tabitha Thompson and I am the Volunteer & Membership Coordinator here at the Oregon Garden! If you aren’t familiar with the Oregon Garden, we are an 80-acre botanical garden, featuring more than 20 specialty gardens showcasing the diverse botanical beauty that can be found in the Willamette Valley and throughout the Pacific Northwest. We have specialty demonstration gardens for everyone, including the Sensory Garden, Rose Garden, Children’s Garden and Medicinal Garden! We are a pet-friendly garden and offer a narrated tram tour daily from April through October. 

Summer is an extremely very busy time for the Garden, there are many plants blooming & events happening! As a non-profit, we thrive off the support of our volunteers. To show appreciation for their hard work, I am hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Party on September 10th, 2025, as a celebration for making it through the Summer and to award our volunteers for their contribution to our Garden. 

I wanted to reach out and ask if you were interested in donating an item to the Volunteer Appreciation Party goodie bags or donating a raffle item? I am expecting around 50 people. We are a registered 501(3)(c) so I am able to provide a donation letter. I will also be able to give you and our organization a shout out on our monthly newsletter.
