The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley is excited to celebrate the Volunteer Challenge 2023.  This program has gained significant momentum year after year and we have 29 corporate teams confirmed and ready to complete sustainable projects for 29 nonprofits here in our community. To date, through the Challenge, over 254 projects have been successfully completed making an IMPACT on over 126 nonprofit organizations. Projects range from school renovations, shelter upgrades, environmental sustainability, and restoration projects.

On May 10, 2023 we will be hosting our Volunteer Challenge event which has become one of the best attended and well received events in our community. The event is a great networking opportunity connecting nonprofits and businesses and celebrating the IMPACT that the Volunteer Challenge has had for both our teams and our nonprofit recipients.  

The 14th Annual Volunteer Challenge will be held ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem and will feature our 2023 honorary chairs, Kate Durso & Erich Schock from Fitzpatrick, Lentz and Bubba, P.C. and our Emcee Kelly Chando from St. Luke’s University Health Network. We expect over 300 attendees to join us to celebrate the amazing IMPACT from the 2023 Volunteer Challenge.

A key component of our event and fundraising for the Volunteer Center is our silent auction. This year we are inviting you to participate in our 2023 auction and are asking you to consider donating to support the Volunteer Center. We are looking for donations of gift cards to your business, experiences, admission tickets, exclusive jewelry, designer chocolates, and other items that make your business stand above the rest! Your donation will have prominent exposure at our event to over 300 people, and for 3 weeks prior to the event during our online auction through social media with over 10,000 exposure prospects. Funds raised by the silent auction will allow the Volunteer Center to continue to be the premier organization supporting over 350 nonprofit organizations. All of our programming and efforts results in a direct impact to the nonprofit sector and their community they serve.
